Hand selected as one of six representatives throughout the company of 650+ employees. I lead the digital + technical interactive portion of the IGNITION INNOVATION TEAM. For decades Marketing Associates had built the company and growth strategy through supportive acquisiton of companies with specialities. For years each entitiy was targeted and marketed as separate businesses. In 2018 that all changed. Under one unified brand OneMagnify, Marketing Associates launched it's new company.

Integration between offices, teams and collaborative work remained siloed, as growth continued, it was even more important to ensure open communication, standardization of processes, corporate values, and extended goals were shared across all offices. That was the birth of IGNITION. This team would spearhead efforts to build communicaiton bridges, extend process awareness and build best practices, highlight agile methodologies and cultivate a unified collaborative environment moving into the future.

Knowledge Sharing:

One of the pillars of success was knowledge sharing. Many departments, teams, offices and individuals were unaware of what was happening across the company. What business wins were taking place, or even more specifically — what was entailed in winning that business. Technology solutions, ways-of-working, office culture - each office had divergent methodologies. It was quickly idenfied that there were many missed opportunities surrounding this awareness. In service based businesses, it is imperatitive that communication remain strong, technology solutions shared and scalable, digital UX practice continue to mature and evolve with technology, new-hires, business expansion and contiued growth.

Ignition Highlights:

  • Team leaders were chosen to presnet recent business challenges/solutions/results.
  • Projects were presented with a focus on team work, collaborative solutions, agile process, technical solutions, results.
  • Identifying gaps in the process, and challanges that were over come.
  • Focusing on technical, cloud and enterprise solutions was a key focus.
  • Results and potential growth plans coming out of the launched solutions.
  • Identification and awareness of soltions specific to one speciality were shared as a primer for focused exercises.

Process Methodologies/Improvements:

As it related to Ideation, Brainstorming and Facilitating the Toolkit, The Agile Process: Origin, Overview, Why it is Used, How to Implement was presented. While the full agile process was explained, the focus of IGNITION is to provide knowlege and tools to build a consistent delivery methodology. One of the pillars of success was knowledge sharing. Many departments, teams, offices and individuals were unaware of what was happening across the company. What business wins were taking place, or even more specifically — what was entailed in winning that business: strategy, technology, design, management, facilitation, iterative improvement. It was quickly idenfied that there were many missed opportunities surrounding this awareness. We optied to address and change that.

Market Specific Solutions:

  • Specialists across offices, and market specialties was a continued evolution and factor across solutions offerings.
  • Focusing on technical, cloud and enterprise solutions was a key focus.
  • Results and potential growth plans coming out of the launched solutions.

Tool Kit, Templates, Resources:

Outcomes/Results: The Future State: Projecting future views of clients and targeting where they would be as opposed to where they currently are, became a valuable outcome.
  • Cross-utilization: Building a strategic line of services across all offices, fields and specialities allows individuals and teams to 'plug-in" experts and offer more well rounded solutions across a wider range of specialies.
  • Identification and awareness of soltions specific to one speciality could be easly adopted to another
  • Agile Acceptance and Adoption: Focusing on the agile initiative, creating awareness and resounces on the process, as well as identifying areas where solutions would not have been as quickly delivered allowed attendees to grasp the agile methodologies in a way far more effective than previous efforts.
  • Delivery Solutions Analysis: Ideation sessoins became a way for break out sessions to focus across a wide range of traditioanl and diversified clients and find connection points where additioanl services, expertise and solutions could be provided.
